Pennine Way Dawn.. Laddow Rocks

Decided to spend the night on Laddow yesterday, walked in from the A635, really enjoyed the stroll in great weather, I wasn't expecting much for sunset and it proved me right..Pretty poor but I hoped dawn would supply the goods. I woke in the night to see the valley full of mist, yahoo, but once the alarm went it had gone only to be replaced by low clouds. It was a colourful but brief sunrise looking towards Holme Moss. The clouds broke a little later to illuminate Laddow and the Crowden Valley and just lasted long enough to snatch an image or two. Not too convinced on the composition but lower down and I lost sight of Laddow, any higher and the foreground rock blocked the view to the valley floor, compromises had to be made...
