Hard days night...

    Newer Older

I had been up at 3am to drive to Ramshaw just to stand in the clag for a couple of hours, although it was a pleasure to bump in to James Pictures for a chat.
A wander along Derwent Edge later in harsh yet hazy light proved fruitless, Harsharn arrived later up at the Salt Cellar and we walked on to Back Tor to shoot sunset, the clouds, earlier looked good but once again as sundown beckoned they did their usual Peak District vanishing trick...
Still we had a laugh and found a great spot to camp, dawn arrived along with more low cloud but at least we managed a lie in.

Really is a spot on composition with interest all over the frame. The foreground hole with a rock in it is a nice touch.

I talked far to much that morning, but hey it wasn't like we were taking photos!

Really like your processing, so natural and crisp looking... lovely composition as well. Wonder why there a juice strainer ( goo.gl/jMFQOa ) in the foreground on that rock ????

You've made this your own mate, a fine composition and enough cloud to make the sky interesting. Definitely needs a return trip.
