~ 52/52 My Kids & Me ~ WE DID IT!
Technically, this was a 52/60 for me. I am disappointed that I wasn't able to complete the project as designed. However, I can easily get over it when I look through the pictures. So many wonderful memories were created during this project. Many were set up specifically for this project while others are clearly just snapshots. Many are far from perfect but at least I have these moments documented with my kids. I have loved being intentional about getting pictures with the kids. I love that I've gotten over my issues of being on the other side of the camera. I have much to be thankful for.
Thank you to all of you who have inspired me, to those who have taken the time to look through my stream, for constructive criticism, for those who stretch me as a photographer, and to those who have supported me with generous comments. I thank my kids for being willing participants (most of the time) and my husband who stood in to push the shutter release when I didn't have a tripod along (or honestly didn't feel like setting it up).
Oh, I mentioned in the comments on 51/52 that I was going to include my husband in this final shot. Well, I forgot my tripod. I brought the stand for the off camera flash but forgot the tripod. We were 30 miles from home, the sun was shining, and I just had to take advantage of it. He put up with laying in the weeds while I continued to check the shots guide the composition. He ROCKS!
