South Falls, Autumn Study 2009

Plunging 177 feet, South Falls is the centerpiece of Silver Falls State Park, and this is an ideal time to see it. Outside of Multnomah Falls, this is one of the best "risk-to-reward" locations in Oregon.

Normally I use a tighter composition, but the vine maple in the top left corner begged to be included in the frame.
