Site History. House Architecture: Carrère & Hastings, 1898-1900 with changes in 1915. Landscape: Frederick Law Olmsted and Olmsted Brothers, from 1895, worked from 1915-1916 at time of additions to house; Hicks Nurseries. Associated Name: Jean Brown (Mrs. Walter) Jennings. Other: House and garden on 110 acres. Today: Garden not extant except some walls and a gate, house razed.

Photographed when Frances Benjamin Johnston and Mattie Edwards Hewitt worked together.

On slide (handwritten): "J" and "Jennings, Mrs. Walter." Also, gold star sticker and red line stroke.
