      That crib looks like the one I had, I was born in the late '40's. Sure wouldn't pass all the safety regs today.

      I was thinking the same thing. Mine was like that, but with wooden slats. Banned as a choking hazard nowadays -- some kids stuck their heads through the prison bars, but couldn't pull them out again.
