    What a great picture. It's so amazing to see real people from the 1930s and 1940s in color. It really gives you a sense of how different (and yet how similar) daily life was back then.

    JasonB has it right in his notes on this image.When you put the two images next to one
    another of the girls.They are 25 going on 35,the depth,doubt and that undetermined distance of their thoughts and add what might have become of them.I so wish I knew
    but that is the beauty of the image......................"the mystery" Very Powerful
