    The woman second from the left appears to be Fannie Garrison Villard. She led many Suffrage marches in NYC.

    The woman second from the right appears to be Fannie Garrison Villard. She led many Suffrage marches in NYC. She was the only daughter of Wm. Lloyd Garrison and wife of Henry Villard.

    Frank G1: Thanks for your information. As you said, the woman second from the right could possibly be Frances Garrison Villard (1844-1928). I found one picture of her in 1887 here: www.rochester.lib.ny.us:2080/cgi-bin/cw_cgi?fullRecord+64...
    Do you have any images of her closer to the date of the Bain image for comparison?
