Four Quartets at Marginal Utility, to Oct. 21
This exhibition is informed by T.S. Eliot’s book of poetry titled the ‘Four Quartet’s’. ... there is also an immanent sub-layer to each of us that is beyond the grasp of temporal understanding and shared meaning. This space that is outside of the imaginary and the symbolic is always beyond the reach of our comprehension and our ability to assimilate contextual and cultural information. As Eliot states, “To be conscious is not to be in time”.
The interactive installation in the exhibition is based on a sense of the rhythm, time, and musicality found within Eliot’s poems.
