Thoughts on Death and Covid-19 | by Libby Hall Dog Photo

Thoughts on Death and Covid-19 This six-minute film, was made eight years ago.

Originally I meant this dramatic selfie only for a few close friends, but their response was so positive and their requests to share the image so many, that I decided to upload the photograph to my Flickr pages.

At this historic moment my tattoos have a new significance. When I was first diagnosed with end stage Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, I made sure my medical notes said that I would not want to be put on a respirator, and I would not want to be treated for pneumonia. I feel this even more passionately now.

Those who want to fight to live on should be given every possible sort of help and support. Those of us, who even without Covid-19, are going to die soon anyway, should be allowed the choice of dying at home.

This is from an album called 'Housebound'

And this is in an album called Seventy-nine years of me.
