This portrait was taken in the small town of Lihi, which lies at 2934m in the Nepali Himalayas.

This kid was one of a small group that were intrigued by our presence, and again, by our cameras (a recurring theme!)

At this point we were very close to the Nepal/Tibet border. Again, it was noticeable in the change in facial features and the style of buildings. The clothes were different too - most of the locals were wearing heavy thick tunics, a drastic change to t-shirts and shorts we'd seen only a few days earlier.

Another favourite portrait from the trip.
