Street Fighter 2 minifigs - complete roster

It only took a year and a half, but I'm done!

Well, other than Fei Long. But he's not that interesting. And I wanted an even 16 - to match the number in a collectible minifig set.

I've submitted this to CUUSOO just to see what happens. If Portal and Minecraft are popular, Street Fighter has got to get some votes.. stay tuned as I wait for them to publish it.

Update: apparently CUUSOO has to review submissions, so it'll take a couple of days before you can vote. The link will be hopefully be this one: . I'll make a note here when it actually goes live.

Update 2: CUUSOO rejected my submission. Here's their text:

Your project refers to a brand or licensed property that contains content or themes that do not fit the LEGO Group's standards for appropriate content. For details, please see the Acceptable Project Content section of the Project Guidelines and House Rules (

LEGO CUUSOO will not accept a project submission based on this brand or licensed property. Decisions about how a property fits our standards are made at the sole discretion of the LEGO Group.

Remember that LEGO is a toy company, so we're careful to only produce products we deem appropriate for children. Projects related to the below topics are not allowed. We will decide how a project fits these standards at our discretion.

* Politics and political symbols

* Religious references including symbols, buildings, or people

* Sex, drugs, or smoking

* Alcohol in any present day situation

* Swearing

* Death, killing, blood, terrorism, or torture

* First-person shooter video games

* Warfare or war vehicles in any modern or present-day situation

* Racism, bullying, or cruelty to real life animals

End of their text.

While I respect their decision - we are talking about a fighting game, after all - I can't help but think LEGO's applying their own rules about licensed property inconsistently. The Lord of the Rings movies are incredibly violent and involve a lot of on-screen death. The only thing that comes close to restricting Street Fighter 2 is "blood", and that got toned out completely in the home ports - Nintendo was notoriously uptight about it in the SNES version.

Oh well.

I wonder what Lego will think if I try to submit a Mortal Kombat project, complete with fatalities? :D

  • Julian Fong PRO 3y It's in CUUSOO's hands at this point. I understand they review every submission before publishing it and opening it for votes, and that takes up to 72 hours.
  • the_jetboy 3y

    It won't go on cuusoo, they do not approve MOCs based on Intelectual Property you do not own. Great stuff though!
  • rheigh15 3y

    Ken looks like Justin Bieber! hehehe!
  • Julian Fong PRO 3y

    the_jetboy CUUSOO *accepts* ideas that require licenses from a third party, even if that third party isn't the license holder. The fact that they've accepted a submission based on Portal is proof of that - I'm pretty sure that submission didn't come from Valve. Whether they actually *approve* it is a different story, but I'm certainly keen to try.

    These figs are truly amazing!

    Update: CUUSOO rejected my submission. See text above.
  • Mitz 3y

    Julian Fong that's a real shame...
  • Nicholas PRO 3y

    Either way man, you did AMAZING work.
  • devoratorul 3y

    1.sup man...yea ..that`s bad..but..i think they don`t want to pay for the right of "street fighter".
    2.The street fighter movie power is long gone.
    3.LOR is a violent movie, but, as in the CASTLE/KINGDOMS series, it is based on FANTASY, that`s wa makes it reliable.

  • devoratorul 3y

    4. street fighter the movie was based on DRUGS and TERRORISM :)
    5. You could say: HEY! Cap America was based on world war and nazi! .....thats why tey didn`t make CAPTAIN AMERICA , and they went only for the MARVEL UNIVERSE=THE AVENGERS.......fighting aliens from outer space:)))
  • glhturbo 3y

    Julian Fong What about getting them custom printed from eclipsegrafx or something like that? I know that it would be a huge financial undertaking to get this done, but these are too great (IMHO) to not be made. I smell a kickstarter project here.
  • Nathaniel Ng 3y

    glhturbo I agree with you ! A kickstarter project sounds great but will involve many copy rights issues and stuffs
  • John F PRO 3y

    I love these. Best I've seen, ever.
  • Jordan Taylor 3y

    You sir deserve a pat on the back for this entire collection, if not for M. Bison alone.
  • alex_panzer 3y

  • tdvarudo 3y

    i would like to buy this set, how can i get ur contact??/
  • chivitoKing 3y

    that is COMPLETE BS!!!!
    How "Warfare or war vehicles in any modern or present-day situation" are NOT present in lego sets? How many minifig with guns have we all seen? How many cars and truck-like vehicles (with also guns attached) are there? come on! Even lego company does not respect its own policy.
  • chivitoKing 3y

    i forgot. awesome job, congralutaions!
    I will gladly buy this set anytime
  • James Dooks 2y
