    Turning Torso

At 190 metres, Turning Torso is the tallest building in Sweden. The building was inspired by a sculpture "Twisting Torso" by Santiago Calatrava . Turning Torso consists of nine cubes with a total of 54 stories, with a 90° twist from base to top.

During a few weeks in summer the building is opened for public. We were just one day too early....:-(

1 van mijn favoriete gebouwen, prachtig gefotografeerd. De curve komt zo extra mooi tot zijn recht.

Een zwart/wit eerbetoon aan een heel kleurrijk architect.
      Heel goed standpunt gekozen!

I think it's even the tallest building in Scandinavia... I didn't know it's open for the public at all, maybe all that year... People live in that building!!
