I have just returned from a holiday to Wilson's Promontary National Park. This part of Victoria is special to my wife and I as we have come so many times with our children over the years. We have always had wonderful holidays there. I have visited some great places and seen many slendid scenes in the photography of flickr friends, but for me, this is the place on earth that suits me best.
We were at a church sevice honouring the life of a friend a few days back. She died of brain cancer and fought to live despite the disease as best she could and for as long as she could. Instead of saying - why me? she had said - why not me. Claire was a brave and beautiful soul who touched everyone who knew her. Her example stirs me to love those I have the priviledge to be with that much more.
