The Peak Oil Jacket

The past few weeks, I've been designing a jacket. This is prototype 001. It's oilskin outer, lined with ventile, and features kangaroo leather embelishments. Julio Valdes has been helping me develop it, and we should have it fully resolved in coming weeks. I plan to sell this jacket, made to order in a range of materials including recycled canvas. This prototype costs Au$200 in materials, and $200 to make, so the selling price will be something like $600. I'm working in pants, bib and brace, shirts and two other jackets. All designed for outdoor activities, but with an eye on style and DIY.
