These McDermott pieces are great, Leif.

My father had a cache of ARGOSY, STAG, MALE and TRUE ( in which none of the stories were . . .) under his and Mom's bed and I found his library when I was about thirteen ( which would have been 1959) . . .

This fledgling illustrator ( me) copied some of the racier covers.

My favorite of all time was one of Nazis freezing brassiere -and- panties-clad nubile women in a kind of giant open refrigerator. The background showed other Nazis, slavering with lust, were packing the damsels into large cannisters.

Perhaps to ship them to Herr Goering's castle?

Great stuff. I love these old "men's" magazine covers and illos.

As usual, you are a real treasure.

Thanks, thanks and thanks, my friend.
