Sir Octavius'octopus is delicious. The suckers and the eye/window are spot-on details. I think the sea floor would have benefited from a greener color scheme, to bring more contrast and offer a better background for the octopus.

Der Hamma! Da lässt du uns eiskalt zappeln um ganz lässig diese Bombe hier zu zünden. Steampunk in Reinkultur. Sehr fantasievoll und steamisch. Mir gefällt die gesamte Darstellung, aber vor allen der Rauch aus Helmen. Coole Idee.

Great one Jonas. You hooked us! ;)

This makes the constraction MOCer in me so happy. Its wiggled a tentacle straight into my heart. Those round things on the sides are Minifigure shields right?

Aaron Van Cleave Thank you. :)
Dave Foreman Glad you like it, Dave. Yes, that are minifg shields.

I see. That's cool that you have that many lol. They look pretty useful. I'll have to get some when I can.

One last thing would it be too much to ask to post a picture of the construction technique you used on the tentacles, I seems like you used way more than just HF bone parts there, it looks quite intricate.

Dave Foreman I can't take any pictures anymore, because the whole MOC was just deconstructed. But the only HF-parts here are the golden armors. In the inside of the tentacles i used pneumatic T-bars and travis-bricks to hold it together

  15. Mana Ramp Matoran 51 months ago | reply

    Aww that's a shame. :(

I know what the T bars are, but what the heck is a Travis Brick? Also, what are those ornate looking parts on the top of each HF armor part?

Jonas Kramm Ooooh that's what those are called. And Oooo thse are cool You have quite a few of those. There's another part to add to my extra goodies list. :D Thank you so much for answering my questions. I appreciate your time and effort. :)

I love creatures and this has to be one of the most interesting I've seen in a long time. The HF and the shields work exceptionally well.
