The Perfect Storm

    Todays surf report....Victory at Sea!
I took Friday off to fix a leak in the roof. Not a good idea because the weather was very sporadic. It rained, cleared up. then rained again. There was thunder there was lightning. At one point even a rainbow made an appearance and to top it of it started to hail! Mother Nature make up your mind! Oh and I never got that leak fixed. Time to put the camera down and get out the ladder.

And??? Only the lightning? The image did not download for some reason at first, so I was just reading the description and my imagination painted all thet in one shot, hail, rain, rainbow etc :))
Ok,ok, I know how difficult is to catch a perfect lightning without dialing in a long exposure :) Well done!

Geez....just browsed your stream to see what I missed and your photos have definitely been on the up and up, sir! Damn nice work!

And doesn't that always seem to happen? You always plan to do something, but something always gets in the way of gettin' it done. In this instance...a thunderstorm.

Wow - this is some show that Mother Nature put on - I heard from our son who lives there, that you were having some crazy weather. I don't think you normally have thunder and lightning, do you?
I'd have loved to have seen it with my camera too - the surf and clouds would make for some great shots, just like this.
Thank you for sharing your image in La Jolla - "The Jewel of San Diego"

Please post this to Favourite Seascapes of La Jolla. Thanks, the Admin
