I was heading out to the desert to run one morning and saw this guy by himself, off-leash, on a sidewalk along a major 4-lane road. I stopped and was able to get him to come to me, so he and I looked for his home without any luck. He was super friendly, so after a few calls, I decided to drop him off at the excellent Nevada SPCA (a no-kill shelter in the area of the country with the highest per-capita kill rate).
I'm not one that believes in fate, but it did affect me a lot to be able to happen upon him and help him out just days after Amina passed away.
His story continues...
