Many services and resources exist for the developmentally disabled in our community. There are sports teams, art programs, transitioning services, vacations, transportation, employment services and much more. These services exist because they enrich our lives and our community yet Latinos are often unaware of the resources available because their children have yet to be diagnosed or parents are uninvolved.
