The Alabama must be a theater, too. Maybe the Jefferson as well?

The Lyric is a 1914 Vaudeville hall. The Alabama is a 1927 movie palace. the "Jefferson" sign is for a furniture dealer (There was a Jefferson Theater, but it was on the next street over). You can find out everything you could ever want to know in Tim Hollis' 2005 book "Birmingham's Theater and Retail District"

You're correct Seth. I've found the Alabama listed in Cinema Treasures.
