Listening to Michael Jackson today period. Hell I grew up with Michael Jackson and his inspiration. Have all the albums. I plan to blow this chart off the map along with others. Love last.fm

Bullshit, it's fake. Check the charts page of Last.fm. You won't see Michael Jackson anywhere in the hyped "artists" and tracks.

The charts at www.last.fm/charts are calculated weekly, so expect an MJ dominated list to appear on Monday!

Michael Jackson tribute scrobbles since last night have already passed 500k, compared to around 800k-1m for the entirety of last week for other artists in the charts. (!)

Michael was one in a million. Have all his albums. Have always wanted to see him live but never got the chance. Sharing my birthday with him has always been an honor even if it has only been for the last 28 years. Whenever life was getting me down I always turned on your songs and they made me smile. You will live on in my heart forever. My heart goes out to his family, friends and other fans. RIP Michael. Clair X

Last.FM are PUMPING Michael Jackson scrobblings by stealing them from unsigned artists.

Many unsigned artists in fact got no scrobbling advance from Michael Jackson death.

Nothing against Michael Jackson, of course. Vultures (CBS and Sony) want to squeeze out the more money they can from the poor Jackson's corpse. I think it's REALLY disgusting.

      Oh Jiga!

That's not tracks WE are playing to people per hour, that's tracks per hour that people are listening to of their OWN music collection!
