Chai tow kway

Chai tow kway is yet another Singaporean/Malaysian dish. It's actually carrot cake that is diced up and fried with an egg mixture. The two types are the black (shown at the back, fried with soya sauce, and a bit on the sweetish side) and white (no soya sauce, and more on the salty side).

This dish can be found in many places in Perth, but one of the better places is the very humble looking "Imperial Wok'.
