WOW Licorice Pizza! I think that was on the corner of Laurel and Cresent Hieghts!

Nope....Sunset and San Vincente, kitty corner to the Whisky and right where Ahhs is now. In fact, Ahhs was originally an offshoot of Licorice Pizza, that's how they ended up taking one of the chain's prime spots. Sad to say that Ahhs is now the only thing left of that once great company.

I think Licorice Pizza's owners established Aaahs and then sold it to an Indian family.

Aaaaaah, I feel so much better now. The Whiskey was still there last time I blew thru town, looking kind of 'wax museum' like. There was a small line but I'm not sure they were actual people.

Excerpt from Joni's 1969 "Woodstock" lyrics:
"And I dreamed I saw the bombers
    Riding shotgun in the sky
And they were turning into butterflies
    Above our nation."
