i googled "paper sculpture" just to see if i could find some inspiring images. i found this: and decided to try making one of my own. i referenced the photo of her paper bee, and my own bee drawings. the end result is pretty neat but i'm already thinking of modifications if i decide to do more. this took about an hour and a half, using a cut-up grocery bag and some hot glue. i'm pretty stoked on how it came out!

i should probably have been paying attention to the kids instead of doing this, but they were doing so good together, haha! but they made a huge mess, that's what i get, i guess. right now poppy's on my lap all bummed out because i yelled at eli for stealing her snack, haha! she will be very happy to see you, i think.

Ooooh yes, I know Elsita. I knew this had looked familiar, but I have never seen them in her etsy. Now I'm going to keep an eye out.

Would you mind if I referenced this photo for first grader's school project? She has to make a 3D model of a bee. Thanks in advance.

maybe you should reference the original? this is just a copy of someone else's work.
