Bottle of Malta Guinness

A non-alcoholic malt-based drink from Guinness Nigeria. I can comfortably say that this is the best malt drink I have had - all the others were unpalatable. This one actually isn't too bad but it is of course very sweet indeed.

Bought from an African shop on New Hall Lane in Preston for £1 for a 330ml bottle, imported from Nigeria (home of the brilliant and similarly sweet Nigerian version of Guinness Foreign Extra).

I agree and that West African Guinness beats the Irish stuff any day of the week.

    Wow, strange stuff indeed !

Daniel I would agree with you on standard Guinness but the Irish FES? I'd say that and the Nigerian version (both 7.5%) are both equally good, with the Irish one being quite bitter and the Nigerian edition being very sweet.

They're fond of 'malta' beverages in my mom's country, too. Mind you, even their stouts are malty and sweet.
