Thanksgiving Cookies

Turkeys were made for a preschool class and leaves were just extra cookies to use up the dough before the holidays. Made 30 turkeys. I'm sure i wont have any problem finding volunteers at work to eat the extras.

You do beautiful work. The black outlining really sets off the colors. Those preschoolers will be sure to gobble up these turkeys!

I'd seen a turkey last year from one of those Cookie Bouquet type chains and wanted to recreate. That's where the color scheme comes from and the leaves were inspired by a pic from Fire and Icing (
Ornate Oak by FIRE and ICING Cakes, Cookies, Confections by FIRE and ICING Cakes, Cookies, Confections
). Using left over turkey icings.
And I took your advise SweetSugarBelle and tried out a PME tip (1.5). It worked great for outlining the turkeys.
