    Lovely composition, a bit tighter than you usually do which I really like for this arrangement and subject matter. The brown wrapper makes a strong statement as well.

    Sylvie is right, it is more close-up and cropped than usual for you but works so well for dolma. I actually don't like the taste of the ones I've had very much but your fresh photo makes me want to give it another try! The insertion of lime slices between the rolls really helps break up the darker colors and shadows. The same can be said of the sliced ones and sprinkling of pine nuts. Your details are always so lovely.

    I like your attention to details. This is a lovely setting. I agree, I like the lime slices and the paper wrap, those are nice little additions here. I love Dolmadakia but never have attempted to make them.

    Thank you for your encouragement. For some reason I don't like the image but I'm happy some of you found potential in it. The dolmas, however, are fantastic in taste. Xiaolu // 6 Bittersweets You definitely should make them again. Rice, pinenuts, currants and dill/mint are an excellent choice for a filing.
