Vintner's Pride

The color of this bloom reninds me of wine. It's mother is Patrick and its father is Pride of Hankins. It blooms as a miniature single. The camera has difficulty correctly getting the color to match what the eye sees. Reddish colors in full sun tend to oversaturate in the image. The bloom has a bit more of a wine color in reality. I have been successful in getting cuttings to root. I have since found that rooted cuttings develop nice strong roots quickly andmost cuttings will root. Since its father, Pride of Hankins, is a popular one to use as rootstock, I plan to use our seedling as a sourcce of rootstock for grafting other plants.
