The self-conscious and enigmatic Isa, a decidedly odd and surprisingly large dining space on the south side of Williamsburg, is hard to get your head around. I went there for brunch with my family to celebrate my birthday and found the dishes hit or miss (and the service too lax, purposely nonchalant and generally lacking for my liking). I would be curious to try their more savory food on their 'normal' lunch or dinner menu, though. Call me crazy.
