Man Trapped After Crashing Into Fuel Tanker

TARZANA - LA City Firefighters responded to a traffic collision on the westbound Ventura Freeway (I-101) near Reseda Boulevard early August 30, 2024.
A white pickup truck collided with a tanker hauling gasoline, causing the driver of truck to be pinned under the dashboard. Firefighter deployed their hydraulic rescue tools to free the man. Paramedics were standing by to evaluate the approximately 40 year-old male and transport him to the hospital with continued en-route care.
