On Saturday, August 24, 2024 we celebrated the graduation of seven LAFD Firefighters UCLA Paramedic School, Class 76.
We are very proud of these members for completing this intense 7 month program with over 1200 hours of education and training.
Over 85% of the emergency responses Los Angeles Fire Department responds to are medical emergencies. LAFD strives to train more and more members to a higher level of emergency medicine with the help of UCLA Center for Prehospital Care, in an effort to provide the best service to our residents of Los Angeles.
