082024 - Greater Alarm Structure Fire in Playa Vista

At 3:35PM on August 20, 2024 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the 11800 block of W Teale St in Playa Vista for a reported structure fire.

Firefighters arrived to find a two story office building with fire showing on the first floor. The immediately entered into the offensive mode.

50 LAFD Firefighters, assisted by Culver City and Los Angeles County firefighters in Automatic Aid, took just 22 minutes to fully extinguish the fire. There were no injuries reported.
