082224 - Attic Fire in South Park

At 9:31PM on August 22, 2024 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 4400 block of S Stanford Av.
Firefighters arrived to find an outside fire extending into the attic of a single family home.
Firefighters initiated an offensive fire attack, working their way through excessive storage conditions to reach the fire.
34 firefighters extinguished the fire in 26 minutes with no injuries reported.
