081124 - 8 Acres Burn in Debs Park

At 3:11pm on August 11, 2024 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire in the 4200 block of Monterey Road in Debs Park. Crews arrived to find less than 1/2 acre of medium to heavy brush burning under light wind conditions.
Firefighters stopped all forward progress of the fire in just over an hour with no structures damaged.
