072824 - LAFD Rescues Stranded Hiker From Elysian Park Hillside

ELYSIAN PARK - The Los Angeles Fire Department responded by ground and air to find and rescue an adult male hiker who tumbled down a steep embankment in a remote section of Elysian Park on the morning of July 28, 2024. Thankfully uninjured but unable to scale the precipitous hillside, he was readily rescued by LAFD responders using a rope and harness system.
