051322 - Fireworks Start Wind-Driven Granada Hills Wildfire

GRANADA HILLS - The well coordinated hour long effort of 73 Los Angeles Firefighters stopped a wind-driven wildfire adjacent to the eastbound Ronald Reagan (SR118) Freeway at Hayvenhurst Avenue on the night of May 13, 2022. The non-injury blaze was prevented from damaging any structures, and like a concurrently burning wildfire two miles to the west, was started by fireworks purposefully discharged from a vehicle.
