043022 - Confined Space Rescue with No Victims Located

At 8:50PM on April 30, 2022 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the EB 210 FY x Hubbard St for a reported Confined Space rescue. LAPD and CHP were on scene where they received *reports of* two deceased persons at least 20 feet down a maintenance hole in the ground. Due to the nature of the space and entry portal, LAFD Confined Space Rescue Specialists donned special equipment and made entry to investigate, consistent with industry regulations. The rescuers descended through the shaft (supported above by the aerial ladder), and searched over 100 feet in each direction. Thankfully, no victims were found
