070421 - Pacoima Brush Quickly Extinguished

At 5:32PM on July 4, 2021 the Los Angeles City Fire department responded to a reported brush fire in the 13000 block of W Paxton St in Pacoima. Firefighter located the fire burning in light wind conditions. Twenty-six LAFD firefighters and LAFD Crew 3 quickly surrounded the fire with hose lines/hand tools, and stopped the flames at a total of one-quarter acre between homes and the freeway in approximately 18 minutes.
