062221 - LAFD Hoists Injured Man From Pacoima Wash

ARLETA - A man who reportedly fell down a rocky embankment into the nearly dry Pacoima Wash flood control channel in the 13700 block of Branford Street, was rescued by Los Angeles Fire Department responders in the early afternoon of June 22, 2021. LAFD crews stabilized the man's injuries before placing him in a litter basket stretcher, and using an aerial ladder in a crane-like fashion to hoist him safely to street level, where he was placed in an LAFD ambulance for transport to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
