061621 - LAFD Holds Elysian Park Vegetation Fire to Two Acres

ELYSIAN PARK - The Los Angeles Fire Department responded swiftly by ground and air to a vegetation fire alongside the southbound Arroyo Seco (SR110) Parkway near Stadium Way on June 16, 2021. Despite hot weather and flames fanned by light wind, the team of 43 LAFD personnel held the blaze to two acres without injury, preventing damage to any structures.
