      tatmarie,

Thanks for sharing kind and thoughtful words. We're pleased to say the two children and four adults were under the skillful care of veteran LAFD Paramedics within minutes of the collision, and they all arrived alive at the hospital by Fire Department ambulance.

As the men and women of LAFD see daily - - the proper use of seat belts and the presence of supplemental restraint systems (such as air bags), made a difference in this collision, which remains under investigation by the LAPD Central Traffic Division.

When you get behind the wheel, please always buckle up and drive defensively!

Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,
