Large Craftsman Burns in Pico-Union

At 3:01PM on November 19, 2024 the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 1200 block of S Menlo Avenue.

 

Firefighters arrived to find a large, three-story craftsman building with fire showing. Crews initially conducted a transitional attack (started exterior) and then went interior.

 

44 firefighters extinguished the fire in 42 minutes with no injuries reported.
