Trio of Fire Departments Hold Chatsworth Blaze to Two Acres

CHATSWORTH - The Los Angeles Fire Department was joined by Los Angeles County and Ventura County Firefighters on the afternoon of October 22, 2024, in a well coordinated ground and air assault against stubborn flames in the rocky terrain of Stoney Point Park in the City of Los Angeles, southeast of the intersection of the Ronald Reagan (SR118) Freeway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard. The non-injury fire in a Mutual Threat Zone at the three agency border, was contained to two acres of light-to-medium brush.
