LAFD Halts Hollywood Hills Wildfire at Just Three Acres

HOLLYWOOD HILLS - The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the 2600 block of North Cahuenga Boulevard for a brush fire, later deemed the #CahuengaFire. Over one hundred LAFD firefighters (along with four LA County FD hand crews) stopped all forward progress of the fire at approximately 3 acres (1 hour 52 minutes from the time of alarm). Fire Helicopters made strategic water drops on the head of the fire, while ground crews developed progressive hose lays around both flanks of the fire. No reported injuries. No structures damaged. Cause under investigation.
