LAFD Battles Fierce Fire in Abandoned Hollywood Hotel
HOLLYWOOD - The Los Angeles Fire Department battled a major emergency structure fire in an abandoned two story hotel at 1624 Schrader Boulevard in the early morning hours of May 19, 2024. It took 127 firefighters 98 minutes to force entry into the well secured structure and fully extinguish stubborn flames, that heavily damaged the former Cielo Hotel. No injuries were reported.
