Lafayette College Black Heritage Month 2014
This year’s celebration of Black Heritage Month used theater, dance, and discussions to focus on the 50th anniversary of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Students and faculty explored topics including “diversity” hiring, Lafayette’s role in the desegregation of the Sun Bowl, felon disenfranchisement, voter ID laws, and Miranda Rights.
