      The face looks quite serious, till you notice the teeth, then you wonder what it's grinning at. Nice texture and detail.

      Bob, unfortunately I didn't pay attention to the writing on this particular tombstone. I was just focused on getting a shot of the skull face. It was quite distracting with all the people around, and I wasn't sure if it was ok if I got right up to some of these stones -- many of them are of well known people in history. I got a shot of the grave of Paul Revere's wife, which I will share another time.

      i love old tombstones -- i'll walk up and down a graveyard and wonter about the names and the people and what they did in their lives. Love the interesting artwork. Hard to find really old graveyards here on the west coast like this.
