last night, i couldn't sleep. i kept waking up from these dreams that i was shooting film with mattie (my yashica-mat 124). all day today, i was fidgety. i *had* to work with film.
see all that grain? just so happened that i had a roll of ilford delta 3200 iso film in my fridge that i had been waiting to try and this is the result. grain, grain and more grain!
i wish i could say that i had a whole roll full of keepers. i got a couple more decent shots. but, the truth is, i don't really know how to assess the quality of shots on this type of film. i also think that there are techniques for shooting and developing this film that i just do not know. i had no idea what to expect. and, for crying out loud, i need to learn how to properly scan a freaking negative!
there's alot to learn with shooting and processing film. i am thinking about doing a film project for the month of january: shoot and/or process a roll of film every day for the month. seems like a good transition from my 365 and film is something that has seriously captured my fancy.
..........10 days to go...
