The Modern and Contemporary Art galleries at the Blanton are always stocked with fantastic works.
Through that door way is a work of art made of cow femurs, US 1-cent coins (pennies), Communion wafers, and black gauze curtains.
The stack of white tablets is perhaps another of my favorites. Each one is stamped with a date. It represents the passage of time. Imagine if you had physical tablets to show for each day of a year that you lived.
The art closest to the front is a colossal display of slate stones.
